Instagram follower kinda weird.

I got a notification that Milehigh distilling started following me on Instagram. I am finding this quite strange of why they would start following me on there. I am pretty sure I don’t have anything linked to here. I have nothing on there about this hobby. Just really kinda strange and creepy maybe ...

Just sit on you hands and keep your booger hookers out of it. You know it’s progressing. That’s all you need to know. Start anoth...

If it’s still working why you messing with it? Let them yeasties work it off then mess with it. I mean you know it ain’t done if it’s still working. And you ain’t Gona run it when it’s still working. That would be a waste. So let it finish out. And leave them yeasties alone.

Re: Glass airsoft BB packing.

Now if you did multiple smaller packed sections. Say 6” of the 6mm bbs with a no packed section then another packed section so on so forth. In essence you would be creating a bubble plate column once each packed section was flooded. Kinda like a perforated plate column. LoL But it could be done with...

Re: Heating a 55 gallon fermenter

Use a yeast that is more tolerant of colder temps. Or double pitch with both a warm and cool yeast. So when the temps do drop the cooler one takes over. I personally have never had to do any more then wrapping a blanky around my babies. But my problem is. I don’t have the power to run a electric hea...

Re: Glass airsoft BB packing.

I would say the 6mm bbs would compact quiet a bit. So the actual vapor path would be to restrictive. With liquid reflux trying to come back down filling most of the small gaps. It would more then likely be prone to flooding the column. Like a scrubber packed column that’s packed to tight. More surfa...

Re: Monitoring Temperature - Liquid or vapor?

Take the thermometer throw it on the ground and stomp on it. Now turn the heat up till you get a twisted stream coming out. And let it go. Collect in small jars. Let it air out 24 to 48 hours and then make cuts by smell and taste. If it smells good and taste good. That what you want. It’s a pot stil...

Ok I seen in another post mentioned 50 foot and another post 100 foot or more. I am looking to put the DSP on our farm. Eventually If and when it happens? Re: Wood fired steam boiler?

PP hope you are doing well Sir! Have you considered building a rocket stove to power this project? Many rocket stove designs incorporate a pipe going up into a barrel type chamber for reburning. Maybe you could put the pipe off to one side and put the boiler inside the reburning chamber. Could be a...

Nice looking rig you got there. As I gaze upon it with envy, it occurs to me that many people might not appreciate the particulars of scopes until they are confronted with the sticker shock of mounting a decent one. I know I didn’t until I started shopping for a long range gun. Luckily mine had a n...

Most feed store sell cob and wet cob (sweet feed). So you can get it dry without molasses. And many feed stores sell molasses.

I would say run it like you are going to run the latter gens of ujssm. And see what you get. Don’t like it dilute and run it through the reflux. But that’s one of the good things about this hobby. You can experiment however you want. uJSSM would make a good vodka. Not really a neutral. Unless you di...
