Reminds me of when I taught math in the high school, probably the most asked question was When will I ever use this [/b]. If I gave this as an answer I am sure any of my non attentive students would have payed more attention. Not to mention how well they would have understood latent heat of vaporiz...

It also saves water(even though I get feet of rain and snow). I just cycle the condenser water directly from, and back to, the cistern, which is about 60F degrees right now :)

I have a rainwater harvesting setup with a 1000 gallon concrete cistern. I just finished my first sugar wash (BW's) and it came out good. I have had no problems with any of the all-grain beers that I have made. I was concerned about the lack of minerals(for beer anyway), but it doesn't seem to be a ...
