Re: Neboirhood watch

Your in New Zealand right? So folks are aware that doesn't pass in the states. I had a dog chained up in a fully fenced backyard with beware of dog signs as a kid in the 90's. Little girl jumped the fence for a ball and got bit. We had to put that dog to sleep, get dangerous dog licenses for the ot...

Re: Neboirhood watch

You may want to check up on that law mate.

If the offender brings a case against you they can ask for the dog to be destroyed.

Then the court will grant it if there was an injury, warned or not.

Stupid law, I know, but rather your dog than your people.

It's a pretty good deterrent though :-)

Surface tention, and molecules having the energy to overcome this, is really something you ought to read up on.

You could get a 2" triclover ferrel and a 2" pipe nipple and weld them together, then all you need are a couple of nuts and a gasket :)

Re: PH of 3.8? WTF

I agree with Jimbo. A PH of 3.8 is low, but not enough to kill your yeast. I have started many ferments at 4 and they finished. But, the fact remains that you have a stalled ferment if still sweet to taste. Which indicates it is not finished. Well, you have nothing to lose but go forward and try to...

Re: PH of 3.8? WTF

You could try splitting the batch and diluting it down a bit, or, some turbo yeast may ferment it out.

I didn't just suggest that did I?

Yep, it seems I did.
