Re: Mr P's Hot Cinnamon Schnapps (fire piss).
I used Korintje Cinnamon Sticks in 97.5 neutral for a month and added the recommended sugar syrup. I already mentioned the Swerve sweetener didn't work so good. I also made some Jolly Rancher Cinnamon Hot candy version. I gave all three to friends to taste test and let me know which they liked best....

Re: Mr P's Hot Cinnamon Schnapps (fire piss).
I tried using Swerve sweetener. It crystallized after 24 hours. It was an expense experiment. I was hoping to make a version that would be friendly for my diabetic friends .jarheadshiner wrote:Wonder if an artificial sweetener like Splenda would work? Or does that just sound nasty?

Using Xylitol or Stevia or ??? for Syrup
Has anyone here tried Xylitol or other low calorie sugar substitute when making syrups for Schnapps or other Liqueurs? I would like to make some FirePiss and various fruit flavored Liqueurs with a sugar substitute.

The formulation of the brass has since been changed and the lead has been removed. With sharkbite fittings, none of the plastic comes in contact with the liquid...

Greetings from deep in the woods
Looking to build a Reflux Still. Looks like this is the place to find some good ideas. Leaning towards a LM version, but am still soaking up the education.
