yes, most def. the gray colored food grade. I do ten gallon mashes. I put 8.5 gallons room temp/garage water on my corn. I use a 30 gallon food grade brute trash can. I have been using it for three years, also a 50 watt aquarium heater with it during winter,,,,

this is what I did yesterday. I used the bayou to heat the pot to 100 degrees then I turned on the electric. I think I should have turned on the electric at the same time. temp dropped and there was a lag time for the electric to catch up. I turned back on my burner after a bit. it pushed the temp b...

Hello, theres no information on this. has anyone used 110 electric to heat a ten gallon mash ? it takes awhile in cold conditions,, anyone ever heat up with gas and then switch to electric? this may be my answer to avoiding 240. 240 cost?? gas may be cheaper or wait until we get warmer temps. my gar...

I stand corrected.... I have been doing it wrong... I need a large glass container and start saving my heads and tails separate. Save enuff for a feints run. From what I have been reading, it makes a good spirit.
