With the UJSSM, do you do a stripping run with your thumper and then go back and do a spirit run? I was wondering how this process works with a thumper. Do you need to do a stripping run if you use a thumper?

its definitely hard to shave, kinda has a sweet smell when burned, but I'm not the guy to identify wood.

Yeah, I was gonna take the torch to the inside to char it up and see if it still seals. I just dont know what the glue (or wax) will do to the alcohol.

I recently acquired a 5l oak keg but it had a plastic liner in it. I took out the liner and looked inside and it seemed like there was glue in it. Do you think I can use it or is it garbage, Thanks for any info.
