time for ageing with oak sticks

Hi. i am new in the game, and trying hard... Have you any tips about the minimum time for ageing, and what is the average number of weeks or months you would let the likker resting with oak sticks. . it colours quickly in the bottles, but what about the taste? thanks for help.

Sorry guys, you are using normal bakers yeast? just like the one used for making bread? Is it not different from yeasts for malts? Hello. I see that the level is high! I tried to stay simple, just give the famous ones, but you are right. Eau de vie is the generic name for all distilled spirits, including all fruit and grape based types. absinthe! right too, although it is an other process: marinated herbs distilled after. Ayway...
