It's been in NZ for some time...........
And, that particular head has been offered as an option on the T500 for more than a year.

Re: Triangle Biomedical Sciences SR -12
10 ltr is pretty small.
The Fractionater needs to go, along with the carboys.
There is not enough information on the internals to make a safety call.
I laughed at the brocher and its 'Rad away'

Re: Cover for Electric Element
If your element used a triclover fitting you could incorperate the screen into the seal, PTFE then stainless mesh. I can see what you are trying to do, I have some mesh, although not ideal for this application, I will have a muck around during the week and see what I come up with

Re: Keg on legs. Looking for ideas
I put legs on my kegs using stainless coach bolts. They look slender but are for stationary boilers, so it is just a vertical load and each bolt could support the filled keg so they are fine. I bolt a bracket to the skirt and the bolt passes through the bracket. Rock solid. MN still1.jpg 200mm x 12...

Re: Problems attaining high ABV %
I built something similar to this some years ago, the external leibig is to small to make any appreciable difference. I canned the idea, apart from the convoluted condenser, which, if they have followed the design of the T500, which it looks like they have, it looks like my build from back then. You...

Hi everyone
I thought I had better introduce myself, Inglishill's the name, a Kiwi. Long live our distilling laws :) I got a flute type arrangement and a potstill, kinda, and just sorted out some elements so I can heave ho the old propane setup. I like making rum, and, UJ, and, well, lots of shit really :) Some...

Shame that, it is a true peice of crap!
Anyway, you can build something better for half the price, and it is a nice boiler, if a little underpowered.

Ok, cool! Now take that column and throw it out on the closest highway in front of a bus then go search for "Boka" or "CCVM" builds and make one of them, that will solve all your problems

You could run a rail and gear with a small 12v motor to make it go up and down from a controller. That would not be particularly difficult to achieve

No. We are still looking for hobby distillers, but who produce alcohol for more than just themselves. Not sell! If any of you have seen any of the Drugs Inc episodes, then you w...
