Next time that fermenters empty put some wood blocks to get it up off the concrete floor.
You are probably wicking more heat out there than your belt puts in.

Re: "Aged" backset whiskey?

I had a sugar/total cereal (stale cereal dump day) wash (10L) that I forgot about till the fruit flies reminded me of it. When I opened it. There was a thin white layer on top. Looked kinda like a milk scum. Skimmed it off and added some corn (500 G) and a (1000 G) of sugar let it finish and it made...

Other than the 5# a day dog food bill./
That and the fact that most people who come to the hi=ouse will after about an hour of being here say "how many dogs do you have"

Re: Thumper runs dry

How is your thumper fed?
Does the feed tube from the boiler come in to the bottom of your thumper?

If it does what is happening is as the boiler cools it creates vacuum and sucks your thumper dry.

In short you keg "sucks" ......

It's funny but we don't do Bloody Mary's here in Canada. We call them Ceasar's and instead of Tomato juice we use Clamato which is tomato juice with Clam nectar mixed in as well. Sounds bloody bad but it's really quite good and popular. They bottle them premixed these days. Spiced as you spice your...

As your column is insulated your vapor really isn't slowing down or starting to cool. Adding the scrubbers will help slow down that rush of vapor too. If it doesn't work you can always just take em out. Add /subtract as needed tailor your output. We do want to hear how this works. <<< all experiment...
