Test 123 isn't avaliable on TT for some reason. I just want to test and see if I've got the ad removed. My Tapatalk isn't set up anything like the removal link shows. I'm guessing it's because it is an old version. So let's see if I've got it removed. Man I hope this don't F*** something up.

Also, I am on like 6 different forums and this one is the only one where people seem to get all in their feelings about it.

Why?

Ah...
Well I am really tired of people getting an attitude with me about it. It's not like I really want to post the ad, I just forget to turn it off
EVERY.
Time.
I post.

Shouldn't the administration have thought of that prior to agreeing to support tapatalk?

Tapatalk support could be dropped as far as I'm concerned because it's crap, but that's just me... It's not hard to turn off advertising in the signature section of the settings... I installed Tapatalk on my Android phone again today for less than 5 minutes just to prove that it's easy to turn off the signature...

If other forums don't mind advertising being crammed down their throats that's on them but Uncle Jesse is adamantly against outside advertising and that is exactly what Tapatalk does by default... And the rest of the forums members could care less what brand and model of dumbphone you have or that you're using Tapatalk...

Personally, I find a real PC to be a better tool for the job overall...

That is great if that's what works for you. I am young and always on the go. Cell phone access is vital for me.

Of its really a problem, HD should make an app.
But if you come at me sideways for some feature on software that I didn't create, you can expect to get attitude back from me.

But having said that, I will look on my app and try to find the sig settings and switch it off.

Well actually I have done it several times before. But for some reason the settings revert back periodically.

I've looked all over my "dashboard" and can't find how this works. I've tried it on the app and on the site. I'm not a fan of unwanted advertising but if I can't figure it out don't get upset. Just relax and have a home distill.

Instead of pointing it out to members in a thread send them a polite pm pointing it out. That way threads aren't getting junked up.

Just a bit of polite ranting.

I'm old and I always HAVE to go. I have a flip phone...SO...Tapatalk Ad Removal...I struggled though this post and I think I get it...correct me if I'm wrong...Someone who controls Tapatalk Ads is making coin by injecting a malware app on cell phones ( wittingly or clandestinely) that some of us use to post on HD. That app then leaves it's bum print on our hobby site, wasting our precious space, and we (HD web site) don't make any coin on this app...so far so good ?
So asking us to turn off Tapatalk Ad is saving our valuable resourses...good thing...Right ?
Getting hung up all day on smiles
