Using Xylitol or Stevia or ??? for Syrup
Has anyone here tried Xylitol or other low calorie sugar substitute when making syrups for Schnapps or other Liqueurs? I would like to make some FirePiss and various fruit flavored Liqueurs with a sugar substitute.

Not sure about strong syrups but i find stevia works well for sweeting up ouzo / raki a bit. Maybe there is a slight difference in taste compared to sugar but i don't mind it.
