Black Cherry Shine

Post by Patriot »

So,I was experimenting with some black cherrys since they are in season.

Used UJSSM cut to 100 proof 1/2 gallon
Fresh Black Cherrys

Cut and pitted 2/3 of a 1/2 gallon jar of cherrys

Filled jar with cherrys to 3/4 full of 100pr spirits

Made a simple syrup of cherrys boiled with sugar and stored it in another jar.

After a week oF shaking and letting the cherrys soak in my spirits add syrup and water to taste and top off the 1/2 gallon jar. This should bring the the proof to about 75. (Just a simple guess based on volumes) I don’t filter out the fruit but you could I look at it as its fruit so it gotta be a healthy snack

Also the cherrys can be used in other drinks made in a blender if you so desired and filtered them out

Sounds like strawberry panty dropper. I guess this is black cherry popper?

Cheers,

Panty dropper —> cherry popper.

Sounds about right.

Apparently those particular cherries are hard to come by.

I’ve done the cherry version of the panty dropper a few times using frozen/pitted cherries and the results were wonderful. Otis
