Check out the online version of Distiller magazine from the ADI folks. Plenty of glass companies advertise and have online catalogs.
My local home brew shop has a great selection, so maybe check yours too.
They look like a pretty common whiskey bottle like the ones the local craft guys use.

I hate paying for bottles, mostly because I have access to a bottle dumpster that is huge and heavily used. Haven't noticed that particular one but there are so many other options I don't care. I frequently get empty 1Liter Woodford reserve bottles and Patrone bottles and I've gotten several hundred wine bottles. A while back I got what I thought was a great deal on some really nice brand new oval bottles for 50cents each. I bought 4 cases and then found out why they were so cheap. The opening for the cork is 23mm, a standard cork opening is something like 19-21mm so I couldn't use standard corks or t-corks as it turned out the only place I could find that had the right size t-corks was widgetco and they cost me 75 cents each instead of the normal 25 cents.

My son got married last year and for the reception we had a local Mexican Restaurant save their large Patron bottles for us. I collected over 30 of the l.75 liter bottles for free and used them on the table for water, they are great bottles.

im with bushman on the patron bottles . I get a lot of bottles from my local bar. they just stick a piece of tape on the bottle I want with my name and when its empty they put it off to the side for me. funny thing is im not the only one with a name on the bottles behind the bar

ive been collecting the jose 1800 bottles. they heavy duty, I love the shape (think pyramid with the top cut off) and the opening is large enough to put a proper size piece of oak down it for aging. then I cap with a cork

That's why I keep recovering Patrone and Woodford reserve bottles, I like the corks. Got some 1800s too just because they look like decanters and I have quit using my antique decanters.

were on the same page. like I said earlier those 1800s are nice because of the size of the opening of the bottle and allowing you to be able to add a nice piece of oak to the bottle

I have a buddy who is a Wild Turkey fanatic. I have a few cases of those bottles. They come with a regular T-cork too. I run off a little whiskey for him now and then but not enough that he stops buying the bottles and giving them to me

I get bottles from thrift stores and flea markets. Some of them are antique with the distillery name embossed into the glass. I try not to spend more than a couple of dollars for a bottle. I also save wine bottles that I like and also 40 oz beer bottles for things like apple pie. My preference is clear uncolored glass. I like to see the likker in the bottle.

Funny thing is, I hardly ever use more than one bottle at a time. I just dilute what I need from the aging jug as I need it. Only time I ever have more than one bottle of likker is when I have more than one kind aging.

I always search tag sales and yard sales for bottles. picked up a gallon jug with a handle this summer for 25 cents. ive found some nice old bottles for cheep.


my glass collection has grown over time. to OP go down to your local bar. im sure they will be happy to give you bottles. the money you save can be put towards better uses in this hobby.

just keep an eye out. you will start to see them pop up everywhere
