Good afternoon all!
Can anyone from the Canadian prairies (particularly Manitoba) give me a hand finding sources for grains other than the companies in Brandon and Winnipeg?

Google "malted grains in Winnipeg" or some things smiler and you should get some locations..

I have bought from Brewers Direct before.. and was pleased with their product and service..

It's probably too late now but next season keep an eye on Craigslist ... farmers in my area regularly post in the "farm+garden" section. I'm in a corn-producing region and farmers typically sell shelled corn for $6 per 40 pound bag. If you're willing to drive to them you can cut out the middleman and get fresh grain for cheap.
