What do y'all think about pla-dough

Post by jb-texshine »

Been seeing some posts on fb people using pladough to seal their stills up.
On the plus side it's non toxic.
Seem like it would be a bit stiff to work with.

I've seen the same posts... seems to me that babies eat play-doh all the time so it needs to be non-toxic, therefore a bit like really expensive flour paste.

Unless something happens when it's heated that makes it toxic?

Flour, water, bit of cooking oil, Salt (quite a lot) and you have made something like play-dough - works fine but attracts rodents and dogs too !

While Play-Doh is non-toxic, it's salty like Pikey said (to discourage eating too much).

Why in the world would anyone buy pladough vs just a scoop of flour from the cupboard and a dash of water? I mean to each their own, but it seems like a solution in need of a problem.
