another pot

Post by googe »

Hey all, did another pot still, one for stripping. Have tried it once and output was only about 7L an hr, I think mainly due to my reg freezing up, will try again this weekend and have some water on hand to defrost the reg if need be  . It's 400x 2.5" outer, 600 x 2" middle and 600 x 1.1/4 " inner.

Im no expert but it looks nice to me. The formed end almost looks like you had a die to from the corner.

I guess I dont know why your product tube exits the liebig perpendicular to the main tube. Wont you end up with a big puddle in the end? Not a biggie I guess for stripping runs.

thanks mate, the formed end is just done with a hammer and a large steel rob up the centre of the pipe to get it flat. The product comes out between the inner tube and out tube. See pic.

Very high output for that rig! Be careful to not overheat and have bad cuts.
