Worm/Condenser question

Post by Antaean »

My question is on the size of the tubing, I am using 1/2" O.D. copper tubing now and wondering if I upgrade to 3/4" O.D. if that will condense more product.
My worm now is 1/2" O.D. copper tubing and right at 14' long coiled in containment. My current cooking pot is only 4-5 gallons. I am getting items together to build a 15.5 gallon cooking pot (Keg).

Would I be wasting money trying 3/4" O.D. ?

He said 1/2" od. Not sure if he ment to or not? But 1/2" copper pipe is 5/8" od. For a keg size boiler. I wouldn't use anything smaller then 1/2" copper pipe. And 3/4" copper pipe would just be overkill.

Just trying to clear up some cornfusion.
