skow, you're right on . i just used the full name for propylene . i agree on steam being a potential hazard. but dealing with heating plants it is extremely efficient. the down side to them is the high maintenance on them. so, you're right. looking back at what i wrote, i should have said you're most efficient heat transfer was steam. not safest bet. good catch. thanks
