Yes - lovely rivets - are they real ? did you put a seal between the copper and stainless, or relying on the mechanical joint ? And is the bowl intact apart from a hole underneath, for stiffening, or did you cut a disc out of the bowl bottom ?

I have a keg set up I'm using. i learned with beer brewing you gotta get the most volume you can out of your run. With kids, wife, life getting in the way I never know when I can bust out the kettle/ still.

the rivets are real, i did want to use the mech. joint but then i over thought it and soldered the bold and plate together(i do have to solder the underside seam). i cut a bigger hole then I needed, now that I think about it i wish i would have gone the a bunch of little holes. so when i cut the top off and add a tri clamp to go higher for my reflux, there would have been some material to hold my packing.

i add a pic of the underside and how I'm going to hold the lid tight to the keg. Please let me know what you think or if you have any ideas. me and the fabricator might do some work tonight.

Thanks for the reply's fokes.
