the washers will have solder on them. There should not ever be any thing to repair? With that said if you did you could cut the column and use a easy flange or just use a coupling. I did not make my flute nor did OD to come apart. It should give many many many years of service with no service aside from giving it a good rinse with water.

Where did you source the rivets from?

If they sell copper drip cap and similar copper flashings they will stock the rivets as well.

Leather supply companies such as Tandy sell solid copper rivets.

McMaster Carr sells copper rivets in various sizes
