Ok got the lower shelf done on the brew stand. And got the fermenter stand done. I currently trying to decide if this is where I'm going to put it. Or if I'm going to put it in the other room. I think it mite just stay here. I originally wasn't going to make this area my brew room. But the wife didn't like the idea of me taking over most of the laundry room. So she suggested I move over here. After looking at it. I think this will work out better. The wall right next to the brew stand was a concrete shower room. It has a floor drain and a shower faucet and head. I think I'm going to cut that wall down to the first row of blocks. Then put a filler row where the entrance is. And make like a mop sink. Replace the shower faucet with a hot/cold hose faucet. So I will have access to water and a drain. I will be able to take the fermenters and BOPs in it and clean them out. I mite even put a utilities sink in there too. For washing the smaller stuff. All I need now is some counter space. So next on the list another bench but counter height.

Mr Piss the build is looking great. Your getting some impressive copper work done with only hand tools. I have access to a full workshop and even being careful shit happens all to often.

I'm interested in how you have done you gin basket - sitting above the condenser and thus using downward vapour extraction. This type of vapour extraction interests me and I've an inclination to make one. I would be very interested to know if you have you any comments on its extraction performance vs the performance of baskets more commonly found in the column.

Cheers

Whoa, the misses prolly took one look at that 150 gallons of fermenters, and wondered if you done gone off the deep end.
...Got plans for all those, or are ya saving one for me? ;)

Any updates on the metalwork?

Wrong and wrong. That's my wifes 04 1200R Sportster. My 06 1200R is sitting right next to it.

Thanks Rock. The Orange one is mine the red one is the wifes. In 06 they went to the blacked out motor. So hers isn't. But I will be doing it to hers too. Both are pretty close engines wise. Just her rev limeter is set higher and ing is hotter. I don't have a tuner. But hers has 91 HP at the rear wheel. So I'm guessing upper 80s for mine. Lots of fun 0 to 100. But after that not much there. I'm bumbed we haven't had them out at all this year. And my tags just expired. And stupid Kansas you have to pay all your personal property taxes the same month. For everything you own. So all our tags are due. And priorities suck.

One of these days we are going to do a west coast run. I have family in Seattle. And I want to ride down the coast. Maybe after I win the lotto. Then I can come meet some of you folks over that way.
