uk home bargains shop stainless scrubbers

Post by ulster_beef1 »

Folks,

I was in my local home bargains shop over here in NI. I saw a 6 pack of 'cleanit' stainless scrubbers for something like 80p. Obviously alarm bells rang.

Having paid 40 quid for pure copper 'chore boy' scrubbers from America I bought them out of curiosity. Thinking they may be plated as there was no mention of 'pure' I scrubbed them against a rough wall, stood on them, soaked them.... two weeks later no rust

Has anyone else used these? I'm using copper but these could be a good alternative

Grab a magnet. Check. If it's not magnetic and it didn't rust go for it. Just keep some copper in the vapor path.

Carry on
