Help with first keg build

Post by Felix »

Hi all, not sure if this is the right section to start in but here goes, I'm putting my first keg still together and I'm hoping someone can advise me
On this, the keg is 30lt tall slim type, obviously I'm
Limited on element size because of the kegs diameter,If I'm right in thinking I can use one or two 240v ulwd element that is 2500w, I'd love to run 4" bubble tower 4plate with two packed sections for nuetral is this possible? Or would i be better with a 3"?

Thanks

That small a keg will probably be an issue on a 4" unless you only run low wines. There will only be 3l or so of alcohol per run which will barely load the column. You will also need 4000+ w of power. Probably easier to just look for a bigger keg if you have the funds to do a 4".
