Made this tool to power wash my keg

Post by still crazy »

Made a cleaning wand to wash my keg.
1/2" tubing with a brass hose adapter, cut in half, soldier the hole shut and then drilled with 1/16" holes.
Works like a charm for sticking it in the keg and giving it a nice douche'.

Nice idea, I think sometype of high pressure spray would help. Currently I just drain and rinse the keg and roll it around. If the keg has sat for a long time or I've done 5+ washes then I use a keg cleaning solution I get from the local brew shop.

+2 Nice Idea... I use a steam cleaner my wife has for the house, but only when she's not looking... :shh:

I could use one of these cleaning wands... Thanks for sharing SC...
