Garden Hose over condenser worm

Aside from stills, much equipment is involved in the process of distillation.

Garden Hose over condenser worm

I put this on my first still post, but I think it belongs here...

Need to make 2 for complete set, one with male hose end and one with female hose end.
Sorry my measurements are in SAE, stead of metric. Home Depot don't carry metric plumbing in the U.S.

My worm is not plugged, kinked, running up hill, or stuck in a cats ass.
although that last one might stop the gurgling noise...

I tired a very close design to this (water jacket)... Mine was an epic fail in the testing stages. So i went back to a 10 foot line with 6 twist coil in a cooling bucket.. and haven't looked back since.... i hope yours turns out better than mine. Good luck
If you run her slow and long, she will do great things.

This looks a lot like a counter flow chiller that is used in beer making to cool the near boiling temp wort down to yeast pitching temps.

This is the hardware you need to make your own counterflow wort chiller. You will need to supply 20-25 feet (6.1-7.6 m) of 3/8" outer diameter copper tubing and 20-25 feet of 5/8" inner diameter garden hose. The supplied parts are solid brass and bronze, not plastic. The cooling wort will only contact the copper coil, none of the brass fittings included with this kit.
