Anyone modified a Brewhaus Parrot?

Post by Canaanite »

So I ordered a Brewhaus Parrot when I ordered my still. I wasn't sure how the fit up would be or what the angles were when I ordered it. Apparently, it is setup to run with a length of alcohol resistant hose between the outlet of the condenser and the inlet of the parrot. I am wanting to get away from any and all rubber in my set up and this would be the last piece. Has anyone modified a Brewhaus Parrot to have a cup on it like some others I have seen? Pics or thoughts would be helpful.
I'm gonna invest in stocks and bonds. Lace stockings and "un"Bonded Whiskey.

I'm not seeing a problem. Just drill a hole in a cap and solder it on. Or attach it directly.

That's what I was thinking. Although the cap would be copper most likely and the parrot is stainless.

You can solder copper to ss. Just need the right flux.

I'm curious about how this turned out since I'm wondering what is the best way to do the exact same thing.
