I want to build a new column but despite 54mm tube being the standard throughout the whole of Europe, I cannot find a flange to fit it.
Are there any out there? I really don't want to order another 2" from America at a stupid expensive cost and have to do another Heath Robinson solution.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

https://www.stilldragon.eu" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow has 2" components. And 2" is 53.975mm outer diameter. I think it fits. You can ask (PM) LWTCS, he works for stilldragon.

Thanks I will have a look, I have bought 2" fittings before, and they do not fit. maybe theirs will be different.
My point is though, how can 54mm be a standard throughout Europe and yet nobody does a tri clamp fitting for it?

Re: 54mm tri clamp fittings
Because 54mm is a standard for tap and heating water pipes. And such pipes are pressed or soldered, not clamped.

Re: 54mm tri clamp fittings
Other options are self made tri clamps. Use the HD Google Search button for this. Or simple use fittings, that's what I did. I never had a leak. Here someone attached a gin basket to his still without tri clamps:

Very good pics. That's why I link this thread.
Here perhaps interesting info for members from metric countries posting and researching here in a mainly imperial forum:
