I was gifted a 50L guiness keg, they use an uncommon "u" coupler.
I got off the locknut, and was able to remove the spear.
From others reports on here, getting a tri clover to fit this connector won't work without grinding it down, it's too large for a 2", and too small for a 2.5"
So I'm thinking the threading inside might be my best bet. I could try and solder/weld something onto the lock nut, but it might be easier to try and find something with the same thread pattern/size to start with, as the lock nut is only 5-6 threads thick.
I only plan on using this port for a drain, I'll add a new standard 2" triclover on top (and 4 inch port).
Image of the lock nut attached.
Any thoughts?

I have a 50L pot still with dual Liebig condenser.
I typically make Whisky, grappa, and brandy.

Re: Guiness keg - thread size
I had a keg flange that was too big diameter , ground it down to standard 2” tri-clamp diameter ... took about 10 min .
My recommended goto .
