Fermenting In Louisiana

Post by Bayou-Ruler »

Well below is a list of the items I have on order. All from Brewhaus. I intend to use a propane burner for my heat source and also will insulate the column and pot. I will probably piece together a heat exchanger using a heater core for the cooling water.

1 of: Starter Kit- Gold
1 of: Essential Extractor Pro Series II- Complete Distiller
1 5.2 pH Adjuster
4 of: Airlock
4 of: Turbo Pure 48 Yeast
1 of: Distiller's Nutrients
4 of: Thermometer- Stick-On
2 of: Fermenter- 32L w/Lid and Grommet
2 of: Clearing Agent- Sparkolloid 4oz.
2 of: Brewhaus Equipment Cleaner, 2oz
1 of: Brewhaus Equipment Rinse, 1.1 Lbs

My primary goal is to produce distillate close to or equal to 190 proof. I also plan on making some good old corn whiskey to.
