sorry, not sure what happen, but I seem to have lost the ability to post on the original subject.

I wanted to say thank you to Still Life and Michigan cornhusker for your help.

I tested my Hydrometer in a bottle of Jack that I have on hand and this makes sense now.

This should be OK (I guess) as I will be distilling into a parrot that I made. I'll just be missing out on the GR at this time, but I'll get a beer and wine for the next run.
