Newb

Post by ebourlet »

Hi I've brewed beer for years and very interested in craft distilling. Hope by learning more I will have the knowledge to make reasoned arguments to my representatives in DC that home distillation should be legal.

Reason doesn't work. Forget logic, too. LOL

Distilling is a great hobby and you've come to the right forum for learning it.
It does require copious reading and a discipline for safety.

Wish you well. Welcome.

welcome newb . Why don't you check out the Hobby Distillers Association. They have material to send to your representatives and are helping with lobbyists

Welcome. I also came from a beer brewing background. There's a lot to un-learn, but you also have a head start.
