Welcome, I have been to two different Palio's in Italy, love some of the wines, and also the Cinque Terre area of Italy.

Welcome for the forum.

The best lemon liquor I have ever had was home made by my friends in Mantova, Italy. An old family recipe from southern Italy. During dinner, Franco brought out his old copper still to show me what he made it on. It was a very small, but he made beautiful liquor with it. Franco spoke no English and I spoke no Italian, but we were able to bond over making good Booze, the universal language. ;-)

If I can find that picture of Franco and I posing with his still, I will have to post it on here.

Best of luck to you. Otis

Got me thinking... I just wrote to my Italian friends asking if the granddaughter, who speaks both languages, would talk to Franco to ask for his recipe. Fingers crossed. :-)

Thanks, but no need to look for me. There are recipes on-line, and I've tried a few already. Mentioning Italy just got me thinking about Franco's Limoncello again and reminded me I wanted to ask him about it. :-).
