Vintage Stove Collector in Western NC

Post by Stovie »

New guy. So new, I have never distilled.

Came here to see if I could make my own fuel for some alcohol fueled camp stoves.
I don't drink, at all.
Not sure I want to make a still, just find a still that will do the job.
And find out if it is cost effective over the Kleen Strip 'green' denatured at the big box stores.

Thanks,
Ken

I roast my own coffee.

It is absolutely possible to make fuel for your stoves, but it is also much more economical to buy alcohol

by the gallon for that purpose at any big box store. put penny stove or zen stove in the search bar, you will

find many threads about your interest and the economics of making your own. welcome.
