Hi guys!
I've been reading posts on this forum for a while now, so I've decided it was to subscribe. Information here is awesome and people seem really nice!
I'm from Quebec city, and alcool laws here are still very strict, but about to change. It is now possible to distill grapes, apples, small fruits and honey (with a craft distilling license). I'm waiting for the law to allow grain distillation so I can start my project of farm-to-battle craft distillery. In the meantime, I just want to learn as much as possible and here seems like a great place to start.
That's it, thanks for having me!

You've come to the right place.

Good to know that there are people from Quebec here!
About distilling those products, I wasn't clear enough (and just edited my post). In order to get a craft distilling license, you'd have to use one of those (grapes-apples-honey-small fruits) and grow them yourself. So it's still not legal without the right license.

My daughter spent a couple of weeks in Quebec city this summer. Nice place.
