Hello! New to the art of distillation and am an avid supporter of fourm life! This site has been a great resource for me and am eager to contribute!
My goals for distilling are to learn brassworking and learn how to produce something for me and my family to enjoy wile focusing on using products that are local to my home province of Alberta!

Re: Hello from Canada!
There can be some perils to brass in a still.
Here are some topics on brass.
But I'm not here to rain on your parade, just helping to guide you.
There's nothing like producing your own drinks. And contributing to local business is a plus.
Lord knows I've shopped local grain and co-op dealers that I'd never otherwise patronized.
Good luck in your new adventure, and Welcome!

Dantuss it's nice to know there's some Alberta residents!
Still Life sorry brassworking was a slip of the mind I ment copper haha. Working with sheet metal to make things has interested me since I seen that videos of Dick Proenneke tin bashing out in the woods.
Bitter hello! And thanks for making me feel at home.
