Hello from Ireland

Post by bugno »

Hi all,

New here and just started distilling. I have a Grainfather with the Alembic still attachments. Primarily been brewing beer for a number of years now but seen I have a Grainfather I took the leap and acquired the Alembic Condenser and Copper Dome Top.

Made up our first wash a few weeks ago and produced around 30 litres of Gin @ 40% alcohol. Have a few questions to ask and looking forward to learning loads here.

Cheers

Well, come on in.
We have quite a few Emerald Islers here. Great folks.
Glad you've got a still going, and we're all here to help you.

Welcome!

Welcome, I have been to Scotland and Ireland is still on my list to visit. Can you post pictures as I would love to see your configuration of an alembic and grainfather.
