Hey There,
I've been lurking on the board for awhile. I got into distilling through the prepper community, but not for the reasons you may think. My wife and I use our distillates for tinctures of natural antibiotics and other medicines. I have a pot still currently, but I am interested in possibly building a reflux.
Now I'm not exclusive to making medicine. I hope to gain a little more knowledge on making some smooth drinkable concoctions for friends and family to enjoy. I'll probably be relatively quiet for the near future, but I hope to add a little to the conversation after I gain a little more knowledge.

Welcome from another Washington State member. I do a fair amount of tincturing but basically for liqueur.

Welcome to the forum from a PNW neighbor. Lots of PNW folks are active on here, and having a medicin man on board is welcome. The herb/hyroosol/essential oil section of the form is not as robust as our booze threads, so please post your progress as you go so we can learn from your experience. Im hoping to play with tinctures more in the future, and will look forward to sharing knowledge with you.
