Hi all from Hawke's Bay, New Zealand

Experienced craft beer brewer herebut spirits and stills etc are totally new to me. Looking forward to the challenges ahead.

Currently I am running a T500 Reflux copper column unit with a water flow regulator device .... and have distilled just three batches.
Basic spirit runs using essence flavourings to give me a baseline reference. (Gin, Dark Rum, Brandy)

My craft beer kit has been helpful by way of having useful items for this new phase.

I am an avid fettler and fudger and part of that is building kit and devices. Mechanical and electronic.

Now in the process of making copper condenser coils for a simple pot still type rig for the production of essential oils. ( Keeping the S.O happy too).

I also enjoy online Forums for topics I am interested in. Will be doing my homework here before I start posting questions or contributing much.
