Ciao Catopleba e benvenuto!
what do you like and what do you plan to produce? we might help you determine the best equipment for you.
(P.S: does your handle have anything to do with "Catoblepa"?)

Sounds like you've taken the right approach. I read this forum every day for months before actually cranking up the heat. Glad I did - I'm still alive, haven't produced anything I"m ashamed of, and nothing has caught fire that I didn't intend to burn.
Welcome!

Re: New from Lombardy
thanks you all for the welcome
my idea is to go with a pot still. I would like to produce whiskey and brandy; i'd would like also to try some ti distill some rum ( i love dark ols aged rums ) but molasse is hard to find here.
I post some more detailed info in another thread (http://w.homedistiller.org/forum/viewto ... 15&t=68555" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow)
I'm waiting to receive a 10l copper pot stil ( ordered this morning i hope to receive it before weekend, so i can perform cleaning runs on saturday/sunday)
