Hi Guys,

I'm a new member to your community after finally making the plunge and treating myself to a Turbo T500 which I'll.be collecting on Saturday.

I've really appreciated your huge volumes of help and advice on here, and I feel in the short space I've been researching, you guys have really been a great help!

I've learned much about the different stills and recipes and plan primarily for gin , so I'll be trying Odin's easy gin recipe.

I guess the first question from what I've learnt is that a lot still is key really for making gin. Would you guys recommend purchasing a reflux still to make the neutral spirit and then a pot still also for the gin, or is that an overkill? It becomes quite expensive if I'm to do both, but I guess if that's the best way then I'll treat myself to both add on's.

I'm new too, but saw you're after that Odin's gin. I just put some up for the 2 week maceration myself.

Welcome to HD MrCyclist1994. Seems to be a run on the T500 lately. If you haven't actually bought it yet you may want to reconsider that choice. It will take some modifications to make it acceptable for here. Lot's of discussions check the other forums for more information on that.
