I built most of my still on a small coffee table in the lounge, using a chef's blow torch, while my other half was out at work. I only got one burn ring on the wood too... but I've sanded that off and she's none the wiser.

Probably not the safest operation, but it can be done without a workshop :-)

The still you have linked to has set off a few alarm bells - are all the seals PTFE? If not then steer clear. They give you a plastic measuring cylinder? Your high proof alcohol will make that brittle in no time.

Address those issues though, and it could work ok for you. Depending, of course, on what it is you really want to make?

I remember too, but also forgot the name.

I browse on https://www.marktplaats.nl/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow regularly with the words destill* and distill*. Sometimes very nice stills for sale.
Last year I helped a Danish guy to get a copper 15 L still with small gin basket for about EUR 150.

Hi

Thanks for all anwers =) I bet with little modify that can do the work. With column filling and adjustable resistor, that maybe do good drinkable alcohol but not still clear vodka? Those plastic things can go to trash. They can be replaced with classones.
