Hi from PDX

Post by bunny » Mon Sep 07, 2020 8:08 pm

I'm just another old retired guy who has finally found a less strenuous hobby. I like to build smaller things and so am sticking with a maximum of 1" copper. Everything has to run slower with 1" but I have the time. Besides, I can't drink or store that much product. BTW, I have a strong preference for insipid, tasteless neutrals.

Thanks for sharing your information. I hope to contribute by sharing some of my more unusual builds and experiences.

Howdy neighbor and welcome to HD.

You want to make a clean neutral there are some good recipes in the tried and true section. My favorite is Shady’s sugar shine.

You will want a fractioning column to get the cleanest neutral, and I don’t know many who fraction using a 1” column. 2” seemed really slow to me but you do you and let us know how it goes. Can’t wait to see your builds.
