Noob looking to get into making rum

Hi all, new person looking at getting into the complicated, often with contradicting information world of distilling!

Looking at rum for my first still spirit using molasses!

Getting myself immersed in information first!

Rum need not be complicated....there are quite a few easy to follow recipes in our Tired and True recipe section.

I was looking at Buccaneer Bob's Silver, Gold, and Black Rum Recipe as a start point =]
