I just signed up this morning , and think this site is going to teach me a lot .
Here in the frozen north ,a man needs to thin his blood out a little .
I have been making 4 gallons at a time by using 4 ,1 gallon jugs.
I find it a good way to try different things , and compare the outcome from one jug to the next .

I'm a retired blue collar guy ,and enjoy hiking in the near by mountains , Kayaking, Skiing , both downhill, and back county, snowshoeing , as well as riding my Harley motorcycle .
Thanks for having me on this forum.

My welcome. I also brew small quantities, it seems that few do, in this forum the quantities are much greater than ours but this is a large forum, full of information and experts.

Hey xcaret, welcome to HD!

The good news if you've found the very best reference for all things distillation, its a great community to be part of. Plenty of us Canadians here so you're in good company.

Given your interests, you life in paradise! I'd imagine you spend a lot of time out in Kananaskis. Its been a few years since I was out in your area but I do have fond memories of Calgary (well not your speed limits, endless red light cameras and flow limiting subdivision designs) particularly eating at The Palomino!

Did you say you're already started distilling, or just brewing?
