Hello from middle TN

Post by Jcarroll3 »

Hi all,
Looks like a great place to learn and I am looking forward to it.
I've been making Beer and Wine for quite some time and am now excited to take it to the next level with a still. I got an introduction to distillers by being in the enzyme business, the process fascinates me. I have bought an Alembic Still and can't wait to fire it up.
I look forward to learning as much as I can and producing some, smooth moonshine.
cheers!

I'm sure you'll get questions about enzymes even though I don't use them. I think many have a wine-beer background (including myself), it's curious to discover these little things. Welcome!

Be careful, keep your hobby on the down low. Always have a couple bottles of store bought "Everclear" hanging around in case folks get a little nosy.

Welcome, what size still did you purchase, the alembic still is one of the nicest looking stills in my opinion.
