Hello from NC

Post by rockuhard »

Long time lurker here. After years of trying I finally beat the bot check, I seriously could not get past it.

Anywho, it was this site that I used to build my first crude still. Well 2nd, first one was a pressure cooker. Used it one time before I found this site and learned quick! I used dry ice and Ice in place of running water. Worked great until you'd get a presser leak. I love this site, it's a great community of people that share a common interest. The Home site is fantastic and I'm about to hit it next and re-read it all again.

Welcome, I was lucky and found this forum before I started building. It saved me time and money and gave me the confidence that I could do it! Good luck it’s a fantastic journey.

Hi, rok,

If the little still is stainless (not aluminium) it may work well as a still for gin.

Lots of people use a little still for that.
