Zero grams.

If you've already made a high gravity wash, go ahead and pitch ec-1118 or Premier Cuvee, otherwise bread yeast will ferment to 14% rather quickly and will not leave terrible flavors behind.

Turbo yeast tastes like shit in anything but a 100% white cane sugar wash, and even that is only ok when run through a reflux still.

Sorry to hear you wasted $7.

Forgot to mention the ec-1118 and Cuvee yeast are both less than a buck a pack at your local home brew store. Hell you can get 10 packs for $5 on amazon.

Save your cash and do it right.

I'm actually surprised nobody gave you a really hard time about the turbo. Around here it's pretty hated stuff. I've never used it personally, and if you'd done a search you'd probably read all the stuff that I did that made me not want to use it! Good to hear it didn't cost you too much though. Good luck with the hobby!

Did you mash the grains? What did you use for enzymes? What SG did you get from it? Your recipe as posted would only be 3.5% ABV?

Not sure why you would boil for three hours unless your volume was crazy big and then you would need a huge boil kettle for it to reduce for three hours. Don't get me wrong, you can boil but for three hours sounds like you misunderstood the instructions or mistyped it. What book was it? Just curious.

Was either the rye or the wheat malted? And did you boil the malted grain too?

Not the best source of information... :problem: Based on limited personal experience and from publicly available sources...
