Flies and Spiders

Hi Everybody,
My still house has been overrun with alcoholic flies and spiders.
I read about fruitfly swarms on here so I put a jar of heads out to trap and drown the little bastards.
I noticed it working in seconds but i dont know what to do about spiders.
Why do spiders love my still house and how do i keep them things outta there?
If anyone has a mixture that'll ward off spiders I'd be grateful.

I looked for a "safe" bug eliminator and came up with isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle.
Slows critters down, then kills them. And best of all the murder juice just evaporates.
Works on flies --don't know about spiders.

Watch out for Recluse and Widows! They need a pro.

I've seen screens on commercial parrots and collection vessels to keep the fruit flies out. Fruit flies have always been a problem this time of year, never had a spider issue.

I think the spiders came to kill the flies. My still house is an old army tent like the ones in M.A.S.H.
I'm getting rid of the flies but im always worried about recluses cause 3 people i know have been bitten by them and I seen the wounds.
So far I've only seen garden spiders but I don't like anything that tries to land on my face when im doing bench presses or running shine.
Hopefully when the flies are all dead the spiders will be down to 2 or 3 as well. I'd like to keep a few garden ones around to kill other bugs.

OK! All the fruit flies are face down in esters.
All the spiders left supposedly because of all the flies dying.
But now i have another problem. I have the fruit flies bigger cousins to deal with. They came around to avenge their kinfolks by annoying the hell outta me in large numbers. They haven't gone in the ester bottle and they must have lead livers because shootin them with rubbin alcohol has no effect. What do i do about these guys?

Get you some fly strips or get a mosqieto net for a steel pot.
