First attempt at s/s condenser

Many like to post about a first successful ferment (or first all grain mash), or first still built/bought or first good run of the still. Tell us about all of these great times here.
Pics are VERY welcome, we drool over pretty copper 8)

First attempt at s/s condenser

Post by thepie »

Hi all,
Thanks for all the advice and info. Just made my first cooling condenser. Hopefully going for a Bokakob dual slant plate still. All in S/S. Here are some pics. Opinions welcome. length 8", might have to put on 2 compression 90 degree elbows on top. Noticed on one of the drawings I've seen there is a water finger up the centre. Not sure what it is or how to do it. Can anyone let me know. Will add more pics as going along.

Cheers
