My pot still seems to work very well.

Many like to post about a first successful ferment (or first all grain mash), or first still built/bought or first good run of the still. Tell us about all of these great times here.
Pics are VERY welcome, we drool over pretty copper 8)

Thank you Home Distillers!

This project started with wondering what to do with all the apples in my backyard. Then some friends on the East Coast made some apple brandy. So I rolled up my sleeves and built this. After running a simple sugar wash over Thanksgiving, I'm very gratified. The apple cider has yet to be run, but due to the generous contributors to this site, I'm off to a great start.

I do metalworking for work, and I like stainless.

Any suggestions, comments, or questions are welcome.
